Warri and Escravos helicopter charter
The western Niger Delta around Warri, Escravos and the Forcados area is a part of Nigeria where helicopters are frequently the only practical way in. Terminals and facilities sit among creeks and waterways with limited road access, and journeys that look short on a map are neither short nor straightforward on the ground. SkyMatch sources and coordinates these missions with suitable independent licensed operators; landing approval at any terminal or facility is granted by that site.

Helicopter sourcing for western Niger Delta missions around Warri, Escravos and Forcados: terminal and facility access, offshore sectors, planning inputs and per-mission pricing.
Staging: the Warri area, including Warri Airport at Osubi (QRW), is the usual regional base, with Port Harcourt and Lagos also used depending on where the aircraft is positioned.
Access reality: creek and waterway geography, limited road links and marine transit times are what make air movement worthwhile here, not comfort.
Mission families: terminal and facility access, turnaround and maintenance crews, urgent technical mobilisation, inspection and survey campaigns, and executive and audit visits.
Landing approval is site-controlled: a terminal or facility helipad is used only with that site's permission and to its procedures, and no page can promise access.
Marine and offshore combinations are common: an air leg plus a boat segment is sometimes the correct mission shape, and we will propose it where it is.
Passenger certification and site induction requirements come from the receiving facility, and are usually the constraint rather than the aircraft.
Security procedures are client- and site-driven; send them with the brief so operators review them before responding.
Weather and daylight: convective weather in the rains and reduced visibility in the harmattan both reshape planning, and the operator holds the go/no-go.
Priced per mission and per aircraft, never per seat — aircraft category, total flight time including positioning, offshore configuration, crew, waiting and standby, fuel logistics, landing and handling fees, permits and equipment are the drivers.
Every request is reviewed by a SkyMatch specialist before licensed operators are approached, and your contact details are never passed straight to an operator.

Frequently Asked Questions
In principle yes, where a licensed operator has a suitable aircraft available and the terminal or facility approves the landing and the passengers. Send the destination, dates, passenger numbers and any equipment and we will check current operator options.
Only where that terminal grants permission and the operator is approved to use the landing area. Where direct access is not available, the realistic mission is an air leg to the nearest suitable point plus a ground or marine segment. We will tell you which applies rather than assuming direct access.
The Warri area is the natural regional base, and Port Harcourt or Lagos are used where aircraft are positioned there. Positioning flight time forms part of the mission and part of the price.
The installation and its duty holder, never SkyMatch and never the passenger. Helideck certification and status, manifesting, passenger certification such as offshore survival training and offshore medicals, and the final go/no-go all sit with the operator and the installation. Missions are planned around those approvals rather than assuming them.
Tell us about them in the brief. Close protection, discreet arrivals, restricted-area movements and client security procedures are noted in the mission brief so operators and ground handlers review them before anything is confirmed. Security clearance for a site or terminal is granted by that site, not by SkyMatch.
Often yes, within payload and dangerous-goods rules and subject to the operator's manifest sign-off. Weights, dimensions, packaging and any dangerous-goods classification frequently change which aircraft is suitable, so send them with the request rather than after an aircraft has been proposed.
No, and we will say so. Where a scheduled or charter fixed-wing flight, a road move or an existing crew boat genuinely gets your people there in reasonable time, that is usually cheaper. Helicopters earn their cost when there is no usable road or runway near the site, when an installation can only be reached by air, when several sites must be covered in one day, or when the delay costs more than the flight.
Priced per mission and per aircraft, never per seat, and quoted only once operators price your actual dates. The drivers are aircraft category, total flight time including positioning, offshore or remote configuration, crew, waiting and standby, fuel logistics, landing and handling fees, permits, equipment and season. We do not publish a figure before operators have seen the mission.
No. SkyMatch Group is an independent helicopter sourcing and coordination platform and does not own or operate aircraft. Flights are performed by independent licensed operators. The performing operator, and where relevant the receiving installation, terminal or airport, confirms aircraft, crew, availability, price, routing, payload, permits and landing or deck approval.
