Helicopter sourcing for offshore missions staged from Lagos: platforms, FPSOs, drilling units and support vessels for engineering teams, EPC contractors, inspection crews and executives. Priced per mission.
Staging: the Lagos area is the practical base for western Nigerian offshore work, with the exact departure point depending on the aircraft, fuel and handling arrangements the operator uses.
Destination types differ materially: a fixed platform, an FPSO, a drilling unit and a construction or support vessel each carry their own helideck limitations, motion criteria and approval process. Send the unit name and the field.
Sector planning: distance offshore, payload and fuel reserves set the aircraft category and whether the mission is a straight out-and-back or needs an intermediate fuel arrangement.
Passenger certification: offshore survival training, a current offshore medical and manifest data are commonly required by the installation before anyone flies. Send passenger details early — they are usually the bottleneck, not the aircraft.
Payload discipline: over-water sectors carry firm weight limits shared between passengers, survival equipment and cargo, and declared weights change the aircraft choice.
Typical missions: crew and specialist movements outside contract flying, urgent technical mobilisation during a shutdown, commissioning and inspection campaigns, and executive or investor offshore visits.
Weather and deck status can stand a mission down at short notice, and that call belongs to the operator and the installation.
Priced per mission and per aircraft, never per seat — aircraft category, total flight time including positioning, offshore configuration, crew, waiting and standby, fuel logistics, landing and handling fees, permits and equipment are the drivers.
Every request is reviewed by a SkyMatch specialist before licensed operators are approached, and your contact details are never passed straight to an operator.

Frequently Asked Questions
In principle yes, where a licensed operator has an offshore-configured aircraft available for your dates and the receiving installation approves the deck and your passengers. Send the unit or field name, dates, passenger count and any equipment and we will check current operator options.
It is set by the unit's distance offshore, which varies from near-shore assets to deepwater positions well out to sea. The operator states the planning sector time for the named unit; we do not publish one.
Frequently yes, and it is the normal structure for inspection, commissioning and executive visits. Waiting time on deck is part of the mission and part of the price, and weather, deck availability and daylight decide whether the round trip holds.
The installation and its duty holder, never SkyMatch and never the passenger. Helideck certification and status, manifesting, passenger certification such as offshore survival training and offshore medicals, and the final go/no-go all sit with the operator and the installation. Missions are planned around those approvals rather than assuming them.
Typically offshore survival training and a current offshore medical, plus the installation's own induction and manifesting process. Requirements vary by duty holder, so confirm them with the installation early.
Often yes, within payload and dangerous-goods rules and subject to the operator's manifest sign-off. Weights, dimensions, packaging and any dangerous-goods classification frequently change which aircraft is suitable, so send them with the request rather than after an aircraft has been proposed.
Priced per mission and per aircraft, never per seat, and quoted only once operators price your actual dates. The drivers are aircraft category, total flight time including positioning, offshore or remote configuration, crew, waiting and standby, fuel logistics, landing and handling fees, permits, equipment and season. We do not publish a figure before operators have seen the mission.
No. SkyMatch Group is an independent helicopter sourcing and coordination platform and does not own or operate aircraft. Flights are performed by independent licensed operators. The performing operator, and where relevant the receiving installation, terminal or airport, confirms aircraft, crew, availability, price, routing, payload, permits and landing or deck approval.
