Flight responsibilities: who manages what
SkyMatch is an independent helicopter charter broker and concierge. You send us your request, and we review it, arrange a suitable flight with a licensed operator and coordinate it with you from request to landing. SkyMatch does not own or operate aircraft, and does not guarantee availability or a lowest price.

Your booking
Your booking is with SkyMatch. You deal only with us, from the first request to after you land.
Reviewing your request
We review route, timing, passengers, baggage and mission needs, and tell you what is possible before we quote.
Aircraft and flight arrangements
We select a suitable aircraft and a licensed air carrier to fly it, and arrange the flight for you. SkyMatch does not own or operate aircraft.
Landing sites and permissions
We coordinate landing sites and the permission requests they need; the operator, the site owner and the competent authorities grant or refuse them. If a site cannot be approved, we propose the nearest suitable alternative.
Schedule, changes and delays
We keep you informed, handle changes you request and agree contingency plans in advance, such as a later time or ground transport.
Safety decisions
The pilot-in-command decides whether, when and by which route the aircraft flies. These decisions are made for safety and are final.
Passenger information
You provide accurate names, weights, baggage and travel documents, and follow crew instructions on the day.
Price
Prices are not published. Each quote is prepared for your request and becomes binding only in your written booking confirmation.
Who is responsible for what
- SkyMatch Group is an independent helicopter charter broker and concierge. It arranges and coordinates charter requests; it does not own or operate aircraft, provide air carriage or control flight operations.
- The independent licensed operator that performs the flight is responsible for flight operations, aircraft airworthiness, crew qualifications, its operating licences and approvals, route and landing permissions, and the safety obligations that apply to that operator and mission.
- SkyMatch remains responsible for its own legal obligations, including those that apply to it as a broker and under consumer-protection, privacy and advertising law.
- You remain responsible for your own travel documents, entry and customs requirements, and for giving accurate passenger, weight and baggage details.
- Requirements differ by country, route and mission; no single checklist applies everywhere. No flight is available or permitted until the operator and the competent authorities confirm it.
- This allocation applies as far as applicable law allows. It does not exempt anyone from legal duties, cannot transfer responsibilities the law assigns, and SkyMatch does not guarantee any operator's compliance. General information, not legal advice.

Common questions
Who do I book with?
Your arrangement and coordination agreement is with SkyMatch, and we stay your point of contact throughout. The written offer you accept states the contracting party for each service and who receives payment.
Does SkyMatch fly the helicopter?
No. SkyMatch does not own or operate aircraft. We arrange and manage your flight, which is flown by a licensed air carrier we select.
Who decides if a flight can depart?
The pilot-in-command, for safety reasons. If a flight cannot go ahead, we work on the agreed alternative with you.
Are flight times guaranteed?
No. Flight times on the site are indicative estimates; your timings are confirmed in writing for your date.
