Payment, cancellation and refunds
Last updated: 24 October 2026 · Version 2026-10-24.1
1. Who does what
- SkyMatch Group reviews your request, sources and coordinates helicopter arrangements with licensed operators, and prepares the written offer.
- The licensed operator performs the flight and keeps operational control, including the pilot-in-command's decisions on safety, weather, routing, loads and cancellation. SkyMatch does not own or operate aircraft.
- The payee is named in each written offer. In some arrangements the operator receives payment; in selected arrangements SkyMatch receives payment, but only where the accepted written offer clearly says so.
SkyMatch is not a bank, payment institution or escrow service, and does not hold funds on anyone's behalf unless a written offer expressly sets out such an arrangement.
2. Enquiries and estimates are free and not binding
Requesting a quote is free and carries no obligation. Flight times, calculator results and other estimates on this website are for planning only. They are not an offer, a booking, a price or a charge.
3. What every written offer states before you pay
Before you are asked to authorise any payment, the written offer or booking confirmation for that transaction identifies:
- the contracting party for each service (for example the operator for the flight, and SkyMatch for its arrangement and coordination services);
- the party receiving your payment;
- exactly what the amount covers, such as the flight, positioning, waiting time, landing or airport fees and any ground transport or other services, and what it does not cover;
- the currency and the total amount, including any applicable taxes, fees and charges;
- how and when payment is to be made;
- how the service is fulfilled: date and time window, departure and arrival points, aircraft type, passengers and baggage, as confirmed by the operator;
- how long the offer is valid; and
- the change, cancellation and refund terms for that transaction, and who handles a refund request.
If any of these points is missing or unclear, ask your SkyMatch contact before you accept. Do not pay on the basis of an estimate.
4. Cancellations and changes
Your own changes or cancellations follow the terms in the written offer you accepted for that transaction. There is no single cancellation window or fee that applies to every booking.
If a flight cannot be performed for safety, weather, regulatory or technical reasons, the decision rests with the operator and the pilot-in-command. SkyMatch will work to propose an alternative, such as another time, another landing site or ground transport, and what happens to your payment follows the terms of that transaction and applicable law.
5. Refunds
Refunds are handled under the terms disclosed in the written offer for that transaction and applicable law, by the party that received the payment. SkyMatch does not promise refunds beyond those terms, and does not decide refunds for payments it did not receive. Your mandatory consumer rights are not affected.
6. How to pay safely
- This website has no checkout and does not accept card payments.
- Pay only by the method stated in the written offer you accepted, to the payee it names.
- Please do not send card numbers, passwords or identity documents through the request forms, chat, email or WhatsApp.
7. Questions and complaints
For questions about an offer, a payment, a cancellation or a refund, contact SkyMatch at support@skymatchgroup.com or on +44 7936 808834 (phone and WhatsApp), quoting your request reference. See also our Terms of Service, Conditions of carriage, how booking works and Privacy Policy.
This page describes how SkyMatch arranges payment for helicopter services. It is general information, not legal advice. The terms of each written offer apply to that transaction.
