From enquiry to a confirmed helicopter flight
A helicopter flight is confirmed in one place: a written confirmation from the operating party, issued after a person has reviewed your mission and an operator has confirmed availability for your exact date, route and load. This page shows every step in between — and opens the proposal we prepared for you.
Independent helicopter sourcing and coordination — flights are operated by licensed third-party operators.
Already have a proposal reference?
Enter the reference from your proposal email or WhatsApp message to open your options, compare them and choose the one you want confirmed. Choosing an option notifies your specialist — it does not confirm the flight by itself.
How a booking is confirmed
1 · Send the request
Route, date, time window, passengers and luggage. Anything you cannot answer yet is fine — we plan around it. Nothing is committed at this stage.
2 · Human review
A SkyMatch specialist reviews the mission before any operator is contacted: aircraft category, realistic sector time, landing points, positioning and what still needs approval.
3 · Operator sourcing
We approach licensed operators that hold the relevant approvals for that route and landing point, and ask for current availability and price against your exact mission.
4 · Your options
You receive a proposal with the options we were able to source: aircraft, timing, passenger and luggage capacity, inclusions and validity. You choose the option you prefer.
5 · Confirmation
Your choice goes back to your specialist, who reconfirms the option with the operator and issues the written confirmation, terms and payment instructions. The flight is confirmed only once that is signed.
6 · Flight day
Meeting point, handling, timings and contacts are confirmed in writing. Final operational decisions — weather, load, landing site — always rest with the operator and pilot in command.
What we need to confirm a flight
- Full route, including the exact departure and landing points, not only the city
- Date and preferred departure window, plus how flexible it is
- Number of passengers, and approximate weights where the sector is tight
- Luggage: number of bags, size and anything unusual (skis, golf, cases)
- Whether it is one way, return, or a day with several sectors
- Billing details for the confirmation, and the name of the lead passenger
Missing details do not stop a request. They only change how much of the answer is a planning range and how much is a firm operator figure.
Booking questions
- Is an enquiry a booking?
- No. An enquiry starts the process. A flight is confirmed only when an operator has confirmed availability for your exact mission and you have received and accepted the written confirmation and terms.
- Does SkyMatch operate the helicopter?
- No. SkyMatch Group is an independent helicopter charter broker and concierge. Every flight is performed by an independent licensed operator, and every introduction is approved by SkyMatch before it happens.
- When do I pay?
- Payment terms are set per booking by the operating party and are stated in the written confirmation you receive before the flight is committed. We never ask for payment on the strength of an indicative estimate.
- How fast can a booking be confirmed?
- As quickly as possible, subject to operator availability. Short-notice missions are possible in some markets and impossible in others; we tell you which of the two you are in rather than holding a request open.
- Can I change or cancel after confirmation?
- Changes and cancellations follow the operator's terms for that specific booking, which are shown in your confirmation. Ask your specialist before you commit if flexibility matters.
- I already have a proposal reference. Where do I go?
- Enter it in the field on this page. It opens your options page, where choosing an option notifies your specialist so the operator confirmation can be prepared.
Check the cabin before you request
Most bookings are decided by cabin, not price: how many passengers, how many bags, and how long the sector takes in each helicopter model. The country calculators below compare the models normally chartered in that market, sector by sector.

Before you book
All options are subject to aircraft and crew availability, permits, weather and operator confirmation. Nothing is confirmed until the operator issues a contractual confirmation.
Operator credentials and operational documentation are reviewed as part of the sourcing process. Final aircraft, operator, certification and insurance details are confirmed before booking where applicable.
