Verification & evidence
What can be verified about SkyMatch Group
SkyMatch is an independent helicopter sourcing and coordination platform connecting clients with licensed third-party helicopter operators. Flights are operated and contracted by the relevant operator unless explicitly stated otherwise. This page collects the claims SkyMatch makes publicly, what each one is based on, and the documents behind them — so buyers, journalists and answer engines can check rather than assume.

SkyMatch Group is an independent global helicopter sourcing and coordination platform connecting clients with licensed third-party helicopter operators. It does not own or operate aircraft, holds no Air Operator Certificate, and is not an air carrier or a private-jet broker. The selected independent operator quotes, contracts and flies the mission.
What SkyMatch does
Takes a mission brief; identifies licensed operators whose fleet, base and mission profile plausibly fit; requests availability and pricing; reviews the operational documentation supplied; presents comparable options; and coordinates the mission timeline with the operator and the client until completion.
What SkyMatch does not do
It does not operate aircraft, employ flight crew, hold an AOC, insure flights, guarantee availability or price, issue landing approvals, publish live inventory, certify or audit operators, or act as an emergency, rescue or medical service. It also does not sell private-jet charter; jets appear only in educational comparisons or jet-to-helicopter last-mile connections.
How claims on this site are controlled
Commercial, legal and trust wording is defined once in a single source of truth and imported by every page, so pages cannot contradict each other. Each material claim is recorded in an internal evidence register with its evidence location, owner, verification method, review date and — where relevant — an expiry date. Time-boxed claims trigger an internal warning before expiry, and a claim with no current evidence is removed from public copy rather than reworded.
Numbers and estimates
Operator, country, route and language counts are derived from first-party records at build time rather than asserted, so they cannot drift from reality. Flight times, distances and feasibility outputs come from a published cruise-speed and routing model documented in the methodology and exposed as machine-readable JSON. They are planning estimates, never availability or an operator quotation.
Reviews and testimonials
SkyMatch publishes no star ratings, aggregate ratings or named customer testimonials, because no permissioned, attributable post-mission statement is on file. Rather than illustrate with invented quotations, the site publishes anonymised summaries of missions that were actually coordinated — and shows nothing when no record qualifies. Feedback is only requested after a genuinely completed mission, with no incentive attached to a positive review, and permission to publish is requested separately.
Availability and pricing
All options are subject to aircraft and crew availability, permits, weather and operator confirmation. Nothing is confirmed until the operator issues a contractual confirmation.
Verification questions, answered
- Is SkyMatch Group an air carrier?
- No. SkyMatch Group is an independent global helicopter sourcing and coordination platform connecting clients with licensed third-party helicopter operators. It holds no Air Operator Certificate and is not an air carrier.
- Does SkyMatch own or operate aircraft?
- SkyMatch does not own or operate aircraft and is not an air carrier. Each flight is operated under the air operator certificate of the independent operator, who carries operational responsibility for the flight.
- Who quotes and contracts the flight?
- The independent operator you select quotes the flight and issues the charter contract. SkyMatch prepares the brief, sources operators and coordinates the exchange; the commercial and operational contract for the flight is between you and the operator.
- What does 'operator review' actually mean?
- Operator credentials and operational documentation are reviewed as part of the sourcing process. Final aircraft, operator, certification and insurance details are confirmed before booking where applicable. SkyMatch does not certify, audit or accredit operators, and does not act on behalf of any civil aviation authority. Terms such as "verified operator" or "vetted operator" are not used because they would overstate what is done.
- Is a quotation guaranteed?
- No. A quotation reflects what an operator indicated at the time of asking. Price and availability can change until the operator issues a contractual confirmation.
- Is availability shown live?
- No. SkyMatch does not publish live aircraft inventory. Any aircraft, time or price shown on the site is a planning estimate produced by a published methodology, not an offer.
- Who confirms permits, landing approval and weather decisions?
- The operator. Landing permissions, airspace clearances, heliport or helipad approvals, and the final go / no-go decision are the responsibility of the operator and its pilot-in-command.
- What happens with urgent requests?
- A specialist responds as quickly as possible, day or night. Offer turnaround depends on operator response and mission complexity. SkyMatch is not an emergency service, air ambulance or medical provider. Urgent medical missions are sourced from qualified third-party operators where one is available; in a life-threatening emergency, contact local emergency services.
- How are errors corrected?
- Every material public claim is recorded in an internal evidence register with its evidence location, owner, verification method and review date. Claims without current evidence are removed rather than softened. If you find an inaccurate statement anywhere on this site, email support@skymatchgroup.com and it will be corrected and dated.
