Market hub
The southern Chile helicopter market, on one page
Magallanes, Última Esperanza, Torres del Paine and Tierra del Fuego: the routes that are actually flown, the bases they depart from, the lodges and expedition ships, the planning calculators and the flight request in English and Spanish.
How SkyMatch works, in short
SkyMatch Group is an independent helicopter charter broker and a human review desk: it does not own or operate aircraft. We review the mission and then identify a licensed Chilean operator. The aircraft, availability, permits, landing authorisation, weather feasibility and final price are confirmed by that operator, not by SkyMatch. We do not publish fixed prices.
Key routes
Each page shows the planning flight time, the comparison against the surface alternative, the factors that move the price and a request form prefilled with the route.
Bases and destinations

Frequently asked questions
Does SkyMatch operate the helicopters in southern Chile?
No. SkyMatch Group is an independent helicopter charter broker and a human review desk: it does not own or operate aircraft. We shape the mission and then identify a licensed Chilean operator. The aircraft, availability, permits, landing authorisation, weather feasibility and final price are confirmed by that operator.
Do you publish fixed prices for these routes?
No. No page in this cluster publishes fixed prices. The ranges shown in the calculators are planning frames, not a quote. The firm quote comes from the operator after reviewing the specific mission.
Can a helicopter land inside Torres del Paine national park?
Not automatically. Landings inside or next to protected areas depend on the corresponding authorisation and the operator's judgement. In many cases an authorised point nearby is used with a short ground transfer. Every request is reviewed before any landing point is promised.
How much does Patagonian weather weigh on planning?
Heavily. Wind and visibility in Magallanes change quickly, so state your schedule flexibility when sending the request. The operator decides feasibility on the day of the flight.
Send your mission details
