Road vs helicopter. See what the time is actually worth.
Pick a corridor to compare typical driving or ferry time against an indicative helicopter block time. Estimates only — every flight remains subject to operator confirmation.
Athens (ATH) → Mykonos
Port transfer plus a 2h30–5h ferry, weather dependent.
Includes ~25 min for apron transfer, boarding and arrival handling. Flight time itself is approximately 36 min.

Questions before you request a flight
How accurate are these helicopter flight times?
They are planning estimates only. Times are calculated from great-circle distance and a typical cruise speed for the selected aircraft class, plus a fixed allowance for boarding and handling. Actual block time depends on the operator, routing, air traffic, landing site and weather.
Where does the road time come from?
Road and ferry times reflect typical door-to-door travel in normal conditions, including transfers to ports where a sailing is involved. Peak season, events and road closures can add substantially to them.
Does a shorter flight time always mean a helicopter is worth it?
No. Helicopter transfers make most sense when ground access is long, unreliable or geographically constrained, when several locations must be visited in one day, or when the schedule is commercially time-critical.
Can SkyMatch guarantee the flight time or landing site?
No. SkyMatch is an operator-neutral sourcing platform and does not operate aircraft. Flight time, aircraft availability, landing permissions and weather suitability are confirmed by the licensed operator.
