Philippines Helicopter Charter

Seven thousand islands, two dominant charter bases and some of the worst urban traffic in Asia — the Philippines is one of the few countries where a helicopter changes what an itinerary can contain. We collect your brief once and source it against CAAP-licensed operators at Manila, Clark and Cebu.

Why fly this leg

What a helicopter actually changes here

Two bases, many islands

Understanding where aircraft actually live is most of the value here — it determines positioning cost and whether your sector is realistic at all.

Traffic and ferries, not distance

The Philippines loses travellers' days to Manila gridlock and RoRo queues. That is what the helicopter buys back.

CAAP-licensed operators only

We request the operator's certificate, insurance cover and maintenance status as part of sourcing; operational responsibility stays with the carrier.

Broker, not operator

SkyMatch is a helicopter charter broker and operator network. We source and coordinate your flight with suitably licensed operators; the aircraft, crew, approvals and operational responsibility remain with the operating carrier.

FAQ

Philippines helicopter chartercommon questions

Yes. You charter the aircraft with its crew from a CAAP-licensed operator; no licence or residency is needed. Passenger names, weights, luggage and the intended landing points are required for the load and permit planning.

Almost all rotary charter capacity sits at Manila (NAIA and adjacent general-aviation apron), Clark, and Cebu Mactan. Anything based elsewhere generally means positioning cost, which we show separately in the operator's quote.

Indicatively €1,700–€2,500 for short urban and inter-island hops, €5,000–€9,500 for long sectors like Manila–Boracay or Manila–Coron. These are planning bands; the operator quotes your dates.

June to November carries the highest typhoon risk, and the north-east monsoon adds wind from December to February. Flights operate year round, but long over-water sectors are the first to be delayed and we always plan a decision point.

We can source medically-configured missions from qualified operators, including transfers towards Manila and Cebu hospitals. Clinical decisions, equipment and medical crew remain with the operator and its medical team.

SkyMatch is a helicopter charter broker and operator network. We source and coordinate your flight with suitably licensed operators; the aircraft, crew, approvals and operational responsibility remain with the operating carrier. That is also why we publish ranges rather than fixed fares: the price you accept is the operator's current quote for your specific dates.

Seven to fourteen days is comfortable in high season, and 24–72 hours is often workable outside peak dates. Short-notice requests are possible but depend entirely on aircraft, crew duty and slot availability on the day.
