Bali Yacht Helicopter Transfer

Guests join and leave yachts on tight windows, and Indonesian cruising grounds are far apart. We arrange the helicopter leg to the marina — or to a certified deck where the vessel and the operator both allow it — and coordinate the tender when they do not.

Why fly this leg

What a helicopter actually changes here

Marina plus tender is a real plan

Most yachts cannot take a deck landing. Saying so early is what keeps guest arrivals on schedule.

Deck operations need approvals on both sides

The vessel's deck rating and the operator's authorisation must match. We collect both before anything is confirmed.

Charter-week timing

Guest changeovers happen inside a few hours. The flight is planned around the vessel's schedule, not the other way round.

Eastern Indonesia is assessed, not assumed

Komodo and beyond depend on fuel and landing sites; we check feasibility rather than publishing routes that cannot be flown.

FAQ

Bali and Indonesia yacht helicopter transferscommon questions

Yes. Where the vessel has a certified helideck sized and rated for the aircraft and the operator is approved for deck operations, guests land aboard. Otherwise we fly to the marina or nearest cleared site and coordinate the tender — that is the normal solution, not a downgrade.

Deck dimensions and load rating, obstruction diagram, whether the vessel will be at anchor or under way, and the captain's contact. Winching and touch-and-go operations have separate approvals again.

Yes — Bali to Lombok, and Labuan Bajo to the Komodo anchorages, are the usual repositioning legs. Longer eastern Indonesian sectors are assessed individually for fuel and landing sites.

Yes, through our yacht brokers desk. Recurring guest movements are handled by one coordinator rather than being re-sourced for every charter week.

SkyMatch is a helicopter charter broker and operator network. We source and coordinate your flight with suitably licensed operators; the aircraft, crew, approvals and operational responsibility remain with the operating carrier. That is also why we publish ranges rather than fixed fares: the price you accept is the operator's current quote for your specific dates.

Seven to fourteen days is comfortable in high season, and 24–72 hours is often workable outside peak dates. Short-notice requests are possible but depend entirely on aircraft, crew duty and slot availability on the day.
