ACI Marina Split helicopter transfers
ACI Marina Split is where most Dalmatian charters begin, which makes it a scheduling problem rather than a distance problem: guests land at SPU through the afternoon, the marina is across the harbour, and the island legs that follow are all ferry-bound. The helicopter turns embarkation day into a single continuous movement.
Split Airport (SPU) to the marina area is about 8 minutes by helicopter; Split to Hvar is 12 minutes from around €1,900 and Split to Dubrovnik about 30 minutes. Yacht guests are met at the approved landing site closest to the berth, or transferred by car from Split airport when a marina-side landing is not cleared.
Flying to and from ACI Marina Split
Airport to marina side on embarkation day, timed to the inbound flight.
The first island leg of most charters, flown instead of queued for.
End-of-charter repositioning or a one-way guest change down the coast.
Zlatni Rat and the Brač resorts, ten minutes across the channel.
The outer island, otherwise a two-and-a-half-hour ferry each way.
Dalmatia to Boka Bay, cross-border, coordinated as one itinerary.

Where the aircraft touches down
- Split Airport (SPU) at Kaštela is the base for the Dalmatian fleet and the customs and immigration point for international arrivals.
- The marina sits across the harbour from the old town; approved landing sites on the city side are used where cleared, otherwise the transfer is flown to SPU and completed by car in 20–30 minutes.
- Embarkation-day timing matters more than distance here: aircraft are usually scheduled against the guests' inbound flight, not against the yacht's slot.
- Onward island legs — Hvar, Brač, Korčula, Vis — depart from the same site, so a guest arrival and an island transfer can be flown as one itinerary.
Deck, tender or quay
The value at Split is compression: a late guest, a crew change and a provisioning collection can all be absorbed on embarkation day without pushing the departure. Charter brokers usually brief the whole guest list at once so the aircraft can be scheduled around two or three inbound flights.
