Operator network
Independent helicopter operator network
SkyMatch Group’s independent operators network by industry cluster: offshore oil & gas, mining, crew change and renewable energy. BARS / ICMM / HeliOffshore aligned. Request a like-for-like operator comparison.
How this works: SkyMatch is a helicopter charter concierge and broker, not an aircraft operator. Operators are contacted only after the request is reviewed. Directory pages are for research and discovery; actual quote handling is managed by SkyMatch. This directory is not an automatic booking or direct matching marketplace — send your request and it is reviewed before any operator is approached.
Operator listings and route information are provided for research, transparency and discovery only. SkyMatch Group does not provide automatic client-operator introductions or direct booking through the website. Every flight request is reviewed manually by David / SkyMatch Group, and operator introductions are made only after internal approval.
Offshore Oil & Gas
FPSO, platform and drillship crew change, executive visits, medevac backup across the Atlantic, Gulf, North Sea, West Africa and Asia-Pacific basins.

Mining
Remote site logistics, exploration, geological survey and camp rotation aligned to ICMM / BARS standards across Africa, the Americas, Central Asia and Australia.

Crew Change
Purpose-built rotational contracts for energy, mining, LNG and EPC crews — SLA, backup aircraft, KPI reporting.

Commercial Vessel Transfer
Merchant and industrial marine: ship-to-shore movements, superintendent and surveyor attendance, marine crew change and hoist-capable work. Not yacht charter.

How a request becomes a like-for-like operator comparison
1 · Mission definition
We write the mission down before anyone is contacted: sectors, payload, passenger and cargo split, landing sites, duty windows, offshore or onshore, and whether the aircraft has to stay on site. Most mismatched quotes come from a mission that was never defined precisely enough.
2 · Operator shortlist
We approach independent licensed operators that already hold the approvals for that airspace and that mission type, rather than whoever answers first. Where a client's own standard applies — BARS, ICMM, HeliOffshore or an internal aviation policy — the shortlist is filtered against it before pricing.
3 · Like-for-like comparison
Quotes are normalised so you compare the same thing: aircraft type and configuration, crew composition, positioning legs, fuel and handling, standby and overnight charges, cancellation terms and what happens if the aircraft goes technical.
4 · Coordination through the mission
One coordinator stays on the file: permits, landing permissions, manifests, changes on the day and post-mission reporting. SkyMatch does not own or operate aircraft — the operator holds the AOC and the operational responsibility for the flight.
Aircraft are subject to availability, landing is subject to authority and site approval, and weather or operational limits may apply. Pricing is confirmed only once the mission is defined and an operator holds the aircraft in writing.
Operator network — direct answers
- Does SkyMatch operate the helicopters?
- No. SkyMatch Group is an independent helicopter sourcing and coordination platform. Every flight is performed by an independent licensed operator holding the relevant national approvals. We define the mission, source and compare operators, and coordinate the file; the operator carries the operational and safety responsibility.
- How are operators selected for a mission?
- By fit, not by convenience: the required approvals for that country and mission type, aircraft suitability for payload and sector length, base location versus positioning cost, and any client aviation standard that applies. If no suitable operator is available for the date, we say so instead of substituting an unsuitable aircraft.
- Can you work to our internal aviation standard?
- Yes. Send the standard or audit requirement with the request and it is applied to the shortlist before pricing. Industrial clients typically reference BARS, ICMM guidance, HeliOffshore practice or their own contractor aviation policy.
- How fast do you come back with options?
- As quickly as possible, subject to operator availability. Urgent and AOG-style requests are flagged and worked first. Nothing is treated as confirmed until an operator holds the aircraft in writing.
- Do you publish fixed prices for industrial helicopter work?
- No. Industrial rotary work is priced per mission — aircraft type, hours, positioning, crew duty, fuel, handling, permits and standby all move the number. Published flat rates would be misleading, so we issue a written quote against your defined mission.
- Can you support multi-country or long-term rotational contracts?
- Yes. Rotational crew change and multi-country programmes are scoped as a contract rather than a single charter: SLA, backup aircraft arrangements, reporting cadence and a fixed coordination point. Bring the rotation plan and we build the comparison around it.
