The Cat Cocos ferry takes about an hour plus harbour transfers and is much cheaper; the domestic fixed-wing flight is 15 minutes but runs to a fixed schedule with tight baggage rules. The helicopter wins on timing flexibility and on going straight to a resort.

Around 15 kg per passenger is typical, with the real limit set by weight and balance for the specific aircraft. Excess bags usually travel by ferry the same day and we coordinate that.

Several Praslin properties have cleared sites; others do not. We confirm with the property and the operator before the booking, and plan a short car leg where a site is unavailable.
