Bali airport transfers
From DPS a helicopter reaches Ubud in about 12 minutes, Uluwatu in about 10 and Nusa Dua in single digits — although Nusa Dua is usually too close to justify the charter.
We say that openly: for a 12-kilometre hop the car wins unless the road is genuinely gridlocked or you are connecting straight off a private jet. The strong cases are Ubud, the Bukit, north Bali and the islands.
Islands: Nusa Penida, the Gilis, Lombok, Komodo
Nusa Penida is about 15 minutes, the Gilis about 30 from Bali or 15 from Lombok, and Labuan Bajo to Komodo about 20.
Bali to Labuan Bajo is roughly 90 minutes on a twin — flyable, but many clients fly it fixed-wing and take the helicopter only for the last leg into the park or a liveaboard. We will say so rather than sell the longer charter.
Resorts, villas and yachts
Very few Indonesian resorts hold a permanent approved helipad, so most transfers land at an authorised site nearby and finish by car or tender.
Landing permission is confirmed per mission with the operator and the property. We do not publish resort helipads that do not exist, and we do not promise a lawn landing.

Positioning from the operator's base, passenger and luggage load, landing and handling fees, waiting time, permits and season all move the number more than the flight minutes do.

Can a helicopter land at my villa in Bali?
Only where the property holds an approved landing area and gives permission for that date. Otherwise we use the nearest authorised point and the villa collects.
Is a helicopter worth it to Nusa Dua or Seminyak?
