Geneva (GVA) → Val Thorens: broadly 35–45 minutes; as the highest resort in Europe it is the most weather- and altitude-sensitive of the three and the one where a fallback plan matters most.
Chambéry (CMF), Annecy (NCY) and Lyon (LYS) are the shorter feeds — a jet into Chambéry plus a rotary leg of roughly 15–25 minutes is often the cleanest structure of all.
Courchevel's altiport is the area's distinctive asset — a licensed mountain airfield rather than an improvised site — which is why arrivals into the wider area are sometimes routed there with a road leg across to Méribel.
Chalet landings are not the model. Arrivals use approved landing points, and the last leg is a short transfer arranged with your chalet or hotel team.
Ski equipment is a payload question with no universal allowance: declare skis, boards, boot bags and hard cases so the operator sizes the aircraft or plans a second sector.

Yes, where a suitable licensed operator has availability and the required permissions for your date. Geneva to Méribel is broadly 30 to 40 minutes and Val Thorens broadly 35 to 45, arriving at approved landing infrastructure with a short ground transfer to the chalet. Val Thorens sits very high, so weather and altitude affect it more than the lower resorts.

It is the reason this sector exists. Everything entering the Trois Vallées passes through Moûtiers before climbing a single valley road per resort, and the queues on peak Saturdays are routine rather than exceptional. A Geneva transfer quoted at two and a half hours can become four or more, and it arrives at the end of a travel day rather than the start of a ski week.

Often, yes. Courchevel has a licensed mountain altiport, which makes it the most operationally straightforward arrival point in the area, and a short road leg across to Méribel is quicker than it sounds. Which arrival point is best depends on your resort, the aircraft and conditions on the day — the operator advises against the specific mission.

Geneva is the busiest long-haul and private aviation gateway and has the most operator choice. Chambéry and Annecy are much closer to the valleys, so the rotary sector is shorter and usually cheaper, which suits a private jet arrival that can choose its airport. Only where an approved landing area exists and the operator clears it with the relevant authority for that date — uncommon in these valleys. Plan on an approved arrival point plus a short car transfer, which your chalet company or hotel usually arranges as standard.

Generally yes, within the aircraft’s payload and stowage limits, but the allowance is aircraft-specific rather than universal. Groups with full equipment often fly the passengers and send the heavy bags up by road, or split across two aircraft. Declare the real load at request stage and the operator gives a straight answer.

Per aircraft and per sector, not per seat. It is driven by aircraft category, sector time, positioning from the operator's base, passenger and equipment weight, altiport and handling fees, waiting time, season and whether the return flies empty. Peak weeks are a different market from January midweek, and no fixed rate is published here.

The operator stands it down against their own minima. Low cloud in the Tarentaise, wind and short winter daylight are the usual causes, and Val Thorens is affected most. The road remains the fallback, so hold contingency on the day of any onward long-haul departure.
