Operating and permission rules
French commercial operators fly under an EASA/DGAC air operator certificate. Riviera and altiport slots are administered locally and, in peak weeks, are the binding constraint rather than aircraft availability.
Lead time and season
May–September on the Riviera and the December–April ski season are the two peaks. Grand Prix and festival weeks are effectively sold out well in advance; shoulder-season transfers are far easier.
