India · Mumbai, Delhi NCR, Bangalore
India helicopter transfer calculator
Choose an Indian sector — Mumbai to Alibaug, Mumbai to Pune, Delhi to Jaipur or Agra, Bangalore to Coorg — with your date, passengers and landing point, and this calculator returns the planning distance, one-way flight time and an indicative range in INR. It is a planning frame, not a quotation.
In India the decisive factors are helipad availability, security clearance for the landing site and daylight, not raw distance. This estimator shows how sector time, category, positioning and landing point build a range. SkyMatch is an independent broker and does not operate aircraft.
Mission inputs
The figures above are a preliminary planning estimate for the route, aircraft category and passenger count you entered. They reflect estimated flight time and typical market cost bands — not a live operator quotation. Only the licensed operator that flies the mission can confirm aircraft availability, landing permissions, operational feasibility and final pricing. Use this estimate to scope the trip, then send it to SkyMatch for a managed charter review.
Indicative mission range
₹220,000 – ₹400,000
Indicative only, in INR. Final charter pricing depends on aircraft type, positioning, operator availability, landing requirements, crew, weather and operational conditions.
Sector flight time (one way)
~15 min
Mumbai → Alibaug (≈ 35 km)
Billable flight hours
1.0 h
Includes positioning, waiting and any empty return leg
Aircraft category
Light single / twin (up to 5 seats)
Assumed hourly band ₹180,000–₹280,000
Landing point
Airport apron / approved heliport
Approval, slots and fees move the total independently of distance
Target date
Not set
Availability is confirmed only by the operator
- Monsoon months, haze and short winter daylight in the north regularly move departure windows and can cancel a sector outright.
Preliminary estimate for planning purposes only — not a confirmed price, availability or booking. Final routing, operational feasibility and pricing must be confirmed by the selected licensed operator.
Turn this estimate into a mission request
The figures above are a planning frame, not an offer. Send the mission and SkyMatch reviews it, researches operators holding the relevant approvals and comes back with current options. Your inputs are carried across — nothing needs retyping.
What actually moves this number
- Positioning: if no suitable aircraft is based at your departure point on your date, the empty ferry flight in and out is chargeable time.
- Empty return legs on one-way transfers, unless the operator already has follow-on work at your destination.
- Aircraft category: baggage volume, over-water or mountain sectors and headcount decide the category more often than distance does.
- Landing, handling, parking and slot fees at each end, plus any approval process for resort, villa or event sites.
- Season and peak weeks, where availability rather than distance limits your date.
- Crew duty and waiting time where the aircraft is held on site rather than released between legs.
What this tool does not decide
- It does not check whether an aircraft is available on your date — only operators can answer that.
- It does not approve a landing point. Resort, villa, event and protected-area sites need operator assessment and, often, written permission.
- It does not price taxes, handling, catering, ground transfers or overnight crew costs, which come from the operator's own quotation.
- It is not an offer, and no figure here binds SkyMatch or any operator.

Frequently asked questions
Is this a quotation?
No. It is an indicative planning frame. Final charter pricing depends on aircraft type, positioning, operator availability, landing requirements, crew, weather and operational conditions. Send the mission and SkyMatch reviews it before obtaining operator pricing.
Why does a one-way cost close to a return?
Because the aircraft normally flies back to base empty. Unless the operator has follow-on work at your destination, that empty leg is billed — which is why the calculator adds it to a one-way.
How far ahead should an Indian sector be requested?
Earlier than most markets. Site clearance and permissions take working days, and a same-day request is often the reason a mission cannot be flown rather than aircraft availability.
Does the calculator confirm the landing point?
No. It shows how an approved heliport or apron compares with a private, lodge or event site in planning terms. The site itself still needs operator assessment and, in most cases, written permission from the landowner and the authority.
Why is the answer a range and not a price?
Because the number is decided by the aircraft actually available that day, where it starts from, crew duty, handling and the landing point. SkyMatch reviews the mission and asks licensed operators; the operator's written offer is the only real price.
Can I charter by the seat?
No. You charter the whole aircraft. Passenger count matters when it forces a larger category or a second rotation, and baggage volume often drives that decision before headcount does.
Does SkyMatch operate these flights?
No. SkyMatch is an independent helicopter charter broker and coordination platform. Flights are performed by independent licensed operators and remain subject to their availability, aircraft suitability, weather, landing permission, crew limits and local regulation.
