Quick answerCannes is served from the west by Mandelieu, a few minutes' drive from the Croisette, which is why the standard Cannes arrival is a short flight from Nice followed by a very short road leg rather than a landing in the town itself.
During the festival and the yacht shows, the coast road between Nice and Cannes becomes the single biggest risk to a fixed appointment. A ten-minute flight removes it. Outside those weeks, the calculation is closer and we will tell you when a car is simply the sensible answer.
