There is no permanent helipad at Paviljonki. Rally-week arrivals normally land at Jyväskylä Airport (EFJY) with a five-minute car transfer to the service park, or on a pre-agreed temporary landing site on private land close to the hospitality area with the landowner's written permission. Stage-side landings need a landing site cleared with the organiser and the landowner in advance and must sit outside the spectator and safety zones — Finnish forest stages are heavily marshalled and unauthorised landings will get you moved on. We arrange the site permissions with the operator before the weekend rather than on the day.

• Book the aircraft for whole days, not single legs — the itinerary shifts as stage times move and a day rate is usually cheaper than three separate transfers.
• Plan each stage arrival at least 60 minutes before the first car, since landing sites sit 1–3 km from the spectator area and the last stretch is on foot or by 4x4.
• Ouninpohja and the classic Jämsä-area stages are the priority hops; the Harju super special in central Jyväskylä is walkable from the service park and does not need the helicopter.
• Long Nordic summer daylight helps — evening stages remain flyable, but confirm the operator's duty hours if you want a late return to Helsinki.
• Low cloud and rain over the lakes can push VFR minimums; keep a road plan for the return leg to Helsinki on marginal days.

WRC rounds spread across dozens of remote forest, gravel and alpine stages. A helicopter is the only way to spectate multiple stages in one day, and the only credible service-park hospitality arrival on rally Sunday.
