Coverage
Worldwide, subject to independent operator availability on your route and dates.
Who it's for
Flight departments, handling agents, jet brokers, executive assistants and private jet passengers.
How it works
Send route, dates, passengers and luggage — offers from suitable independent operators are returned for comparison.
Who operates the flight
An independent third-party operator. SkyMatch coordinates and does not operate aircraft; operational responsibility remains with the operator.

How an FBO-to-helicopter connection actually works: airside versus landside handovers, handler coordination, customs, waiting policy and luggage. SkyMatch coordinates licensed helicopter operators around your handling agent.

Airside apron-to-apron handovers where the airport, handler and authority permit them
Landside handovers via the FBO lounge when airside movement is not authorised
Customs and immigration sequencing on international arrivals
Waiting window agreed up front, measured against actual ETA rather than the filed slot
Crew, passenger and luggage split planned before the day
Licensed third-party operators only — SkyMatch coordinates, operators fly

Frequently Asked Questions

Airside means the passengers step from the jet to the helicopter on the apron without re-entering the terminal — fastest, but it depends on the airport, the handling agent and the local authority allowing it. Landside means passing through the FBO lounge and being driven to the helicopter's position. We confirm which applies at your airport before quoting.

On a domestic airside connection, fifteen to twenty minutes is realistic. On an international arrival with customs and immigration, plan on thirty to sixty minutes. The operator's waiting policy is stated in the quote.

We pass the helicopter's details, timing and passenger manifest to the handler and to the operator, so both sides are working from the same information. Your flight department only needs to send the arrival details once.

Operators monitor the actual arrival rather than the slot and hold within the agreed waiting window. Beyond that window, waiting time is chargeable and the operator may need to re-plan the crew's duty — which is why the window is agreed before departure.

Some of it. Helicopter baggage capacity is much tighter than a jet's, so tell us bag count, dimensions and weight in the request. Where the load does not fit, we plan a car for the oversized items rather than discovering the problem on the apron.

No. SkyMatch Group is a helicopter charter brokerage and coordination service that sources licensed third-party operators. The operator holds the AOC and remains responsible for the flight, the aircraft and the final routing.

It is priced per mission, not from a price list. Aircraft category, positioning, waiting time around your jet's ETA, landing and handling fees, season and availability all move the figure, and the operating partner sets the final price for your date.
