Fastest way from Reykjavik to the Westfjords

Driving from Reykjavik to Ísafjörður and the Westfjords is roughly 450 km of coastal and fjord road and typically takes six to seven hours in summer, with sections closing in winter and the Baldur ferry as the alternative.
