Straight answers
How long does the flight to Adare Manor take?
About 20 minutes airborne from Shannon Airport (SNN) to the approved landing point for Adare Manor. That is a planning figure, not a schedule: the routing, the slot you are given during an event window, the landing point the authorities approve and the weather on the day all move it, and the performing operator confirms the real number.
When is a helicopter actually worth it here?
For Ryder Cup week, the strongest case is a time-critical connection from a private or scheduled flight at Shannon or Dublin. The helicopter can simplify the airport-to-event-area segment, but the approved landing point, slot and controlled final transfer still need to be coordinated.
It is usually not worth it if your timings are flexible, you are travelling outside the peak arrival and departure windows, or you are one or two people who can share a road transfer — the aircraft is chartered whole, so a small party pays for all of it.
