North America
A helicopter transfer in Northern Canada is a private charter of the whole aircraft, priced per mission rather than per seat. Iqaluit (YFB) → Feltlokaliteter på Baffinøen is one of the most requested sectors here, and typical sectors run about 30 minutes airborne, subject to routing, weather and operator confirmation. SkyMatch collects your leg once and returns operator-confirmed options as quickly as possible, subject to availability.
There is no published fare. The operator prices each mission on aircraft class, flight time in both directions, positioning from wherever the helicopter starts the day, landing and handling fees, and crew duty. Send the date, passenger and luggage count and the exact points, and we return operator figures for comparison.
Around 30 minutes airborne on a direct routing, before boarding, handling and any air-traffic sequencing. Final timing is confirmed by the operating company with your date and departure point.
Iqaluit (YFB) → Feltlokaliteter på Baffinøen are the corridors buyers request most often through this hub, and we source point-to-point missions across Northern Canada on request, including private helipads, resorts, yachts and airport connections.
Send one brief — date, time window, origin, destination, passengers and luggage. We canvass independent licensed operators, come back with a curated proposal, and handle permits, slots and changes end to end. Nothing is committed until you approve an operator quote.
No. SkyMatch Group is an independent helicopter sourcing and coordination platform. Every flight is performed by an independent licensed operator that holds the aircraft, crew and safety responsibility.
Yes, on almost every island sector the helicopter removes the sea leg entirely: Iqaluit (YFB) to Feltlokaliteter på Baffinøen is flown point to point while a boat transfer depends on schedules, sea state and a port drive at both ends. Send your date and we will confirm the flown time with the operator.
The operating company makes the go / no-go call on visibility, wind and cloud base at both landing points, and will re-time or re-route rather than fly outside limits. We keep the alternative slots and the ground option open with you while the operator reassesses.
Baggage hold volume normally binds before weight on island helicopters, so declare bag count, dimensions and rough weights with the request — dive gear, golf bags and long-haul suitcases often decide the aircraft type or add a separate baggage rotation. Include it in the brief and the operator quotes the right aircraft the first time.
SkyMatch Group is an independent helicopter sourcing and coordination platform: we do not own or operate aircraft, and every flight is performed by an independent licensed operator.
