Business Helicopter Charter FAQ
Straight answers for companies, travel managers and executive assistants planning a business helicopter charter. SkyMatch reviews each request and arranges and manages the flight. Prices are quoted on request; flight times are estimates until the route is checked.
Planning a business flight
- What do I need to send for a business helicopter charter?
- Route (exact pickup and drop-off points), date and preferred times, number of passengers, approximate passenger and baggage weights, the purpose of the trip, any stops or waiting time, and whether you need a return or a daily or weekly schedule.
- How far ahead should we plan?
- As early as possible. Same-day and next-day requests are reviewed, but availability, landing access and permits cannot be confirmed until they are checked, and short notice narrows the options.
- Can you plan a multi-site day or a roadshow?
- Yes. Send every site in order with the time you need on the ground at each one. SkyMatch checks the sequence and comes back with a written proposal you can adjust.
- Can we hire a helicopter for a full day or a week?
- Day and week hire can be requested. Describe the expected daily pattern; the proposal sets out how the schedule, waiting and repositioning are handled.
Permits and landing access
- Who arranges landing permission and permits?
- SkyMatch checks what each landing site and route requires as part of reviewing your request. Nothing is confirmed until the required permissions are in place.
- Can we land at our office, factory or hotel?
- Sometimes. Private sites, rooftops and hotel lawns each need the owner's agreement and local approval. If a site cannot be used, the proposal suggests the nearest suitable landing point.
- Do cross-border flights need extra time?
- Usually. Border crossings can add customs, immigration and flight-plan steps. Tell us the passengers' nationalities early so the route can be checked.
How SkyMatch arranges your flight
- What happens after we send a request?
- SkyMatch reviews the itinerary, checks feasibility for the route, sites and schedule, and sends a written proposal. You approve it before anything is booked.
- Who is our point of contact?
- SkyMatch is your single point of contact from the first request to the flight, including schedule changes on the day. SkyMatch is available 24/7.
- Why are prices not published?
- Each business flight depends on the route, aircraft type, positioning, waiting time and dates, so prices are quoted on request after review.
Exclusions and limits
- Where can't SkyMatch arrange flights?
- SkyMatch does not currently accept requests for Cyprus, Malta (including Gozo and Comino), Croatia or Hong Kong.
- What does SkyMatch not promise?

- No. There is no minimum spend for business charter flights.
