FAQ

Industrial Agriculture — questions we get asked

Do you arrange aerial application (crop spraying) helicopters?

Yes. We source operators holding the aerial application certificates and product permits required in your country, with spray systems calibrated for the crop, product and droplet spectrum specified in your RFQ.

Can helicopters fly NDVI or multispectral crop surveys?

Yes — we book aircraft fitted with multispectral, NDVI and thermal sensors for canopy health, water stress and yield-forecast mapping, with data delivered as orthomosaics or agronomy-ready index layers.

How does helicopter frost protection work for vineyards and orchards?

The helicopter hovers along programmed lines to push warmer air from the inversion layer down onto the canopy. We pre-position aircraft for the frost window so crews can launch within minutes of your temperature trigger.

Can you secure capacity for a full spraying or harvest season?

Yes. Seasonal agricultural capacity is tight, so we recommend booking blocks of hours in advance; our desk negotiates seasonal contracts with multiple operators rather than relying on one supplier.

Do you support livestock mustering and pasture inspection?

We arrange mustering, pasture condition flights, fence-line and water-point inspection with operators experienced in low-level livestock work on large stations and ranches.

How is agricultural helicopter work priced?

Typically per flight hour or per hectare treated, plus positioning and product handling. Because we are independent you receive several operator quotes side by side for the same scope.
